The Tale
Solae grew up in a lively river town full of musicians and storytellers. She eventually left the town because she wanted to see the world and the magic it held. She wanted to uncover tales she'd never heard, but she also wanted to create memories that would one day become tales sung around a fire.
In between collecting songs, she went on adventures with local parties who needed the help of a sorcerer. When she wasn't dramatically casting fireball on a single slime or charming city guards to let her party in after nightfall, she spent a lot of time in the local taverns.
One day, she was drinking with her party and correctly predicted the luck of a party member during a dice game and everyone started telling her she had a gift. From then on, she started predicting the future as a parlor trick and eventually she ended up at the Flaming Barrel.
This tavern was FULL of music and stories and she felt the most overwhelming sense of belonging when she walked through the doors. She told the barkeep that she was willing to retire as an adventurer if they would tell her their stories and let her tell her own.
